Historic Churches
While we as Christians realize that in the truest sense, the church is the people, not the building it meets in; yet if we allow the creativity of our imaginations to take an unobstructed course, much might be gleaned from a spiritually in tune observation of some of the gatherings that took place in some the early buildings set aside for people of God to meet.
And in that course, perhaps if we stretch our imaginations just a little, we might even be able to visualize the Holy Spirit at work in the lives of those early pioneers as they gathered together in the open air and later, in some of the early meeting houses like those pictured on the pages above.
